The UFR-Institute of Psychology of the University of Paris Cité offers training in three university level programs (the BA, Masters’ and Doctorate) that have evolved over time. The quality of the new, reformed versions is recognized internationally. For the bachelor’s degree, the different sub-disciplines of psychology are taught, in addition to professional know-how and interpersonal skills in accordance with the code of ethics applied to psychologists. This representation of the sub-disciplines is found throughout all of the 16 courses available in the Master’s program. Starting at the bachelor’s level, students learn to master the different stages of the scientific approach, a skill that will enable them to regularly update their knowledge in the context of their future profession, and always based on scientific evidence. Field experiments are also required beginning in the third year of studies for the bachelor’s degree. In this chapter, we present the characteristics of the current offer of bachelor’s and master’s degree courses after presenting an overview of their evolution. Students wishing to deepen their expertise have the opportunity to pursue their research in a doctoral program which exists for each of the sub-disciplines of psychology.
