During this pivotal period (2017-2022), the Institute of Psychology experienced the transition from University Paris Descartes to the merger within the new University Paris Cité. The occurrence of the health crisis linked to Covid-19 has punctuated the last few academic years and affected the organization of teaching. The constraints have nevertheless allowed the development of new pedagogical resources thanks to the use of collaborative digital tools, and also enabled a reflection on the hybrid nature of teaching. A major challenge of the mandate corresponded to the desire to develop the synergy between training and research, notably by developing the use of virtual reality technology and other innovative pedagogical tools. Finally, this mandate was the opportunity to proceed with numerous embellishments and renovations on the Henri Piéron site, in order to improve the quality of reception and the working environment of students and staff. Thus, the Institute of Psychology has made great strides and its century-old identity testifies to the ambition its dynamic sustain.
